Quick Post: Dragons, confetti, and drums...

(Photo from madlofa.wordpress.com)
So far, it's been great here in New York. I've done anything and everything I've wanted to do, aimlessly wandering around the city is a fantastic way for me to get my mind off of things. I wish I had a camera more than anything, on Saturday I went to Chinatown which was one of the best photo oppurtunities of my life. Thinking back on the experience, I can literally picture what magic I could have captured with my camera. Toddlers in awe of the confetti around them, the lively groups of drums and cymbals as they follow the extravagant dragons around the streets, in and out of shops and resturants. It was a sight I will never forget, one day I hope I can actually visit China during the New Year and see where the festivites began.

However, I'm now sitting in my hotel room waiting for the rest of my family to finish whatever the hell they're doing. I'm currently multi-tasking --- well, attempting to--- by continuosly typing this post then checking Facebook and viewing all of the things I dread to go back home to. After my family is ready to go, we're going to experience the corny tourist crap: go see fifth avenue, walk through central park, etc, etc... Talk to you later!
